Building Enduring Prosperity
We are dedicated to building enduring prosperity by supporting high-integrity organizations that expand economic opportunity to sustain future generations. We prioritize education, job training, and other targeted development efforts that provide a hand up, rather than a handout, partnering with organizations that demonstrate deep knowledge and a clear theory of change.
Our Work
What We Do
We work in a select set of international and domestic regions, partnering with organizations with deep local knowledge and a clear theory of change. We prioritize initiatives that provide a hand up rather than a handout — strengthening education, job training, and economic resilience to enable lasting prosperity.
Guiding Principles
Our Philosophy
Economic leaps are our top priority.
Although we are willing to support relief efforts under limited circumstances, we prefer targeted development initiatives — education, job training, workforce development, infrastructure, and seed capital — that help individuals, families, and communities reach and sustain increased levels of prosperity.
Integrity is our guiding principle.
We are willing to fund efforts that others are not, including innovative ideas untested in a particular context. But we insist that prospective grantees demonstrate deep local knowledge and a clear theory of change.
Grants should empower, not encumber.
Our goal is to empower primarily early- and growth-stage organizations with unrestricted funding to implement their bold ideas. We seek to support those organizations for which our funding can provide an outsized social impact.
